Connect Yorkshire

Knowles Warwick has teamed up with Connect Yorkshire to help entrepreneurs in the South Yorkshire region.

Knowles Warwick joins Brown Shipley, Irwin Mitchell, Benchmark and WPA to become the latest South Yorkshire Partner, sponsoring events and running training seminars for members.

Connect Yorkshire is a specialist membership organisation dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs and helping them to grow their business. A pool of successful business owners, called Entrepreneurs in Residence, help members by hosting Masterclasses, taking part in panel discussions and providing mentoring.

The Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs) are drawn from a variety of industries and have all built, and many are continuing to build, highly successful businesses in our region. Connecting and networking with these incredible individuals is a key benefit for Connect Yorkshire members

Connect Yorkshire also offers its members a Springboard, a one-to-one with one of the EIRs to discuss the specific challenges the member is facing in their business. The knowledge and experience of the EIRs is an invaluable resource for members.

Members are also given access to funding, with introductions made to appropriate EIRs who are looking to invest.

Steve Knowles said, “We were keen to work with Connect Yorkshire, we have been aware of the great work they are doing across the Yorkshire region for a while, and wanted to support them and their members in any way we can.

“I’m looking forward to getting involved and meeting some of Yorkshire’s most promising entrepreneurs.”

The next Connect Yorkshire event, “Establishing and running a sales team”, takes place on January 24th at The Quadrant in Sheffield, with talks from Julie Kenny formerly of Pyronix, and Edward Naylor of Naylor Industries.

Events are open to members only, if you are interested in finding out more about Connect Yorkshire membership, visit the website or contact Sophie Patton at sophie.patton@connectyorkshire.org.
